Android 4.1 Jelly Bean-All about it

Android, the most popular operating system in the world today is marching forward when it comes to OS updates. The latest update being Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

According to Google, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is the fastest and the smoothest version of Android yet! It improves on the beauty and simplicity of Android 4.0 Ice cream sandwich and introduces a new Google search experience on Android.

Some of the features of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean are:-

FASTER AND SMOOTHER:-
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean boasts of silky transitions and buttery graphics-"Project Butter". Now switching between screens and apps won't take any effort! The touch responses will be more uniform and reactive.Jelly Bean supports a much higher frame rate (60fps), which makes screen animations move a lot smoother than before, giving you a lifelike experience!

CAMERA:-

Android 4.0 ICS brought users updated Camera features, including a zero lag shutter. Jelly Bean is about to let the same users access their photo library a lot faster. The photo app offers a film strip view for faster scrolling and images can be shared with family and friends with a simple tap. Deleting pictures is very simple, just swipe up to remove the unwanted shots.Undo feature is available, just in case you delete something you didn't want to!

ANDROID BEAM:-
Android beam feature was launched with Android 4.0 ICS but with Jelly Bean the users will be able to share photos and videos between NFC devices with just a tap! The NFC ready devices will be able to pair up instantly  with bluetooth devices again with just a single tap.

ACCESSIBILITY:-
For Jelly Bean, the accessibility feature has been bumped up. Blind users can use "gesture mode" to reliably navigate the user interface using swipe and touch gestures in combination with speech. There is also added support for accessibility plugins.

WIDGETS AND HOME SCREEN:-
In Jelly Bean, widgets work like magic. Adding widgets to your homescreen is a simpler task. The widgets will adapt to the current layout of the display, and resize automatically to fit that area.
In order to remove a widget, just swipe it upwards( same goes with apps and photos).

The homescreen can be customized and personalized according to your needs. Adding widgets to the homescreen is also easier.

TEXT INPUT:-
Android’s dictionaries are now more accurate, more relevant. Jelly bean supports 18 extra languages and the keyboard is also significantly upgraded. The text to speech capabilities have improved with this version of Android and voice typing works even when the data connection is off!

NOTIFICATIONS:-
Notifications are now expandable, actionable and customizable! Yes, that's true. The new notifications menu will now let you perform various app related processes without actually opening that app. Hence, you'll be in much better control when it comes to staying connected and notified.

GOOGLE NOW:-
Jelly Bean phones will be able to actively help you based on your behavioral patterns, as long as you choose to share certain things about you with Google, including search history, calendar, Google Maps data and others.

Once you've provided the necessary information, Jelly Bean will know where you are going, how much time you will take to get there, the directions to reach your destination, restaurant recommendations, the live score of your favourite teams playing a match, meeting schedules etc. All in all a perfect planning companion for you!
